Ola Al-Tamimi

Ola Al-Tamimi works and specializes in forced migration and refugee movements in the Middle East and North Africa, including how conflict affects refugee lives, rights and future. She earned her M.A degree in International Studies from Birzeit University. She is interested in UN sanctions as an indispensable Charter-based instrument for the maintenance of international peace and security; and how UN sanctions are used to support conflict resolution efforts. She conducts research on techniques for the effective implementation of United Nations sanctions.
