Won Jang

Won Jang is a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia SIPA, originally from South Korea. He has previously conducted research on South Korea and North Korea politics, human rights and the Middle East. Won was also a freelance translator for 12 years, translating from Korean to English and English to Korean for numerous companies and public institutions. At CCSI, he is interested in the implementation of sanctions in North Korea and Middle Eastern countries, as well as the intersection of sanctions and humanitarianism/women's rights.
